BHG Department Store Shopping for Space at Jurong Point

It will take over 2 floors currently occupied by John Little plus another level

SINGAPORE, 29 May, 2016, Sunday – In what appears to be going against the softening retail market, BHG Department Store will take over not just the 2 floors currently occupied by John Little, it plans to occupy an additional level at Singapore's largest suburban mall. In total, it will eventually trade from a floor area of 49,000 square feet which would make Jurong Point their biggest outlet in the western part of the island. John Little, which has been with Jurong Point for about 20 years will exit the mall in the second half of this year.

BHG, backed by a myriad of local and international experience in both wholesale and retail business, will introduce an extensive range of products from popular brands as well as exclusive brands across fashion, beauty, home, lifestyle, and kids. It will also retail a wider repertoire of home lifestyle brands, from Living, Kitchen, Dining, Bath, Bedroom and Utility, making the Home & Living department one of its largest in the suburbs.

Apart from BHG impacting the trade and tenancy mix positively next year, shoppers can expect more changes and surprises in 2017. Jurong Point, which recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a Gifting and Giving Campaign, gave back to shoppers staying within its catchment and its tenants cash and kind totaling more than $3 million.
