SHOPPER TERMS & CONDITIONS GOVERNING USE OF CARD

  • 1. The Jurong Point Gift Card ("Gift Card") is a stored value card issued by Jurong Point Realty Limited / Prime Point Realty Development Pte Ltd (“Jurong Point”).
  • 2. Purchase of Gift Card may be made at Jurong Point’s Customer Service Counter at JP1, Level 1 or JP2 Level 3. Only cash will be accepted as mode of payment.
  • 3. The Gift Card may be used to make purchases at participating outlets in Jurong Point with either complete or partial payment made by using the Gift Card.
  • 4. The Gift Card may be loaded with a minimum value of $20 unless otherwise approved by Jurong Point. The maximum load value for one gift card is $200.
  • 5. Gift Cards are valid 6 months from date of issue. A receipt stating date of issue, card value and validity will be issued with each Gift Card.
  • 6. Jurong Point will not entertain any request for transfer of unutilised value in a Gift Card after expiry. No extension of Gift Card validity will be entertained.
  • 7. Any unutilised value in a Gift Card may not be encashed, transferred or combined into a new card.
  • 8. Shoppers may be redirect to Jurong Point’s Customer Service Counter should they wish to top up their Gift Card. Any value added to the Gift Card will have a validity of 6 months from date of top up.
  • 9. Any Gift Card which is faulty due to card manufacturer’s defect (i.e. inability for magnetic stripe to be read on by Gif Card terminal) will be replaced free by Jurong Point and the unutilised value in the Gift Card will be transferred to the replacement Gift Card.
  • 10. Jurong Point shall not be liable to provide free replacement Gift Card should the Gift Card be deemed defective or damaged.
  • 11. Jurong Point will not be liable for any loss, damage, theft or unauthorised use of the Gift Card.
  • 12. Any lost or stolen Gift Card will not be replaced by Jurong Point.
  • 13. The user of the Gift Card should verify Gift Card balance before and after each transaction and ensure that the correct Gift Card has been returned by store’s sales personnel.
  • 14. In the event that an over-deduction is made from the Gift Card at point of sale, the difference of the wrongly deducted Gift Card value will be reimbursed to shopper in cash. Jurong Point will not be held liable for any error made by participating outlet’s staff due to over-deduction.
  • 15. Jurong Point shall not be liable in any way:
    • for any malfunction, error or defect in any terminal or other data processing equipment, software or system used to process Gift Card transactions whether belonging to or operated by Jurong Point or other persons;
    • for any failure or delay in processing Gift Card transactions because of any downtime of NETS terminal or telecommunication defect or failure, act of God, civil disturbance or any event outside Jurong Point’s control or the control of any of Jurong Point’s servants, agents or contractors; and
    • for any damage to or loss of or inability to retrieve any data or information that may be stored in the Gift Card or any device in the Gift Card or corruption of any such data or information, howsoever caused; and/or
    • for any fraud and/or forgery in relation to the Gift Card perpetrated on Jurong Point or any of Jurong Point’s servants, agents or contractors.
  • 16. Jurong Point reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions governing the use of the Gift Card at its sole discretion. Jurong Point may provide notification of such changes at Jurong Point’s website www.jurongpoint.com.sg or through notifications posted at Jurong Point’s Customer Service counter or by other means of communication as Jurong Point may deem fit and shall be effective as of the date specified by Jurong Point in such notification.
  • 17. These terms and conditions shall be binding on the purchaser and all users of the Gift Card.
  • 18. These terms and conditions are governed by Singapore law and the purchaser and all users of the Gift Card irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
