Key responsibilities and duties

Job Description:


  • Stock service areas with supplies such as wet towel,  tableware, and crockery
  • Perform food preparation duties such as preparing appetizers, and/or cold dishes, portioning desserts
  • Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as crockery and menu
  • Refill condiments

Table Service

  • Usher customers to their tables
  • Inform customers of daily specials and promotional items
  • Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
  • Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
  • Take orders from customers for food or beverages
  • Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks or dessert for customers
  • Serve food or beverages to customers, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
  • Ensure customers' satisfaction
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
  • Clean tables or counters after customers have finished dining


  • Collect payments from customers
  • Able to operate POS machine
  • Able to perform merchandize through register machine
  • Able to perform cashier closing  
  • Understand company promotion system
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors


Job Requirement:

  • Previous F&B experience is an asset but not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Social, energetic and be a team player
  • Pleasant and cheerful personality
  • Willing to learn and has passion for service industry
